I build engineering teams and the platforms they run on, from first hire through scale, and I stay close enough to the code to make good technical calls.

Over 14 years I've moved from shipping iOS apps to leading engineering, product and technology strategy. Having also led product and product marketing, I understand how engineering decisions land commercially. I'm as comfortable with execs and enterprise partners as I am in a code review.

    Interim Technology Lead · Contract

    Set up the SDLC, engineering governance and security foundations for an FCA-regulated investment platform.

  2. 2023 – 2026

    CTO · CODA Labs

    Joined as the first in-house engineer and progressed through Head of Engineering to CTO. Built the iOS, Android and backend team, cut infrastructure cost by 78% and shipped a portfolio of AI-powered consumer apps.

  3. 2016 – 2023

    Head of Core Technology · Bink

    Grew backend engineering from 5 to 18 and led the Barclays and Lloyds integrations, launching to 11M digital customers with zero critical incidents. Joined as an iOS developer; later led merchant product and product marketing.

  4. 2018 – 2019

    Principal iOS Developer · i6 Group

    Built the eHandshake pilot app for digital fuel management, deployed at British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
